A quick post – on Saturday and Sunday we headed East from Cape Town in a nice Toyota hybrid hire car, stopping at Babylonstoren and Boschendal Estate before driving into Stellenbosch then onto Franschhoek -(or French Corner in Dutch) in the beautiful Franschhoek valley, famous for its wineries. We purchased tickets on the Winery Tram (Blue Line) and headed to our first stop the Rickety Bridge Winery at 11. We then went to La Provence Winery and Franschhoek Estate for lunch, before continuing onto La Bri and finishing at Holden Manz. We decided to walk off some of the wine intake and staggered back into town and our very comfortable guest house- Les Chambres Guest House. Five wineries in one day is not for the faint of heart but we were up to the task and can definitely recommend South African wines from the Franschhoek region. (We may be sticking to beer for a few days though…)

Wonderful to hear all your adventures. Proud of you both managing 5 wineries…… all looks so beautiful!!
Loving travelling along with you both and your adventures. The wineries and scenery look amazing 🍷
